ISLAND LIFE

Our island is rich in history, dating back to the 4th century BC.

The Harbour provides a safe haven for boats requiring deep moorings and has been very strategic in years gone by. Nowadays it is seen as the last port of Greece and therefore the Island welcomes many and varied visitors from all around the world.

Explore the Island's many walks, which offer a panoramic view of the Lycean coast and Turkey. Swim in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean and snorkel for Octopus. Dine in the many cafeneo which encircle the harbour. Charter a boat and swim in the unbeleivable Blue Grotto. Catch a short ferry ride to Turkey, and visit the markets of Kas. Or, just relax and soak up the ambience of our island and dream of how our forefathers lived.
